We believe that LJ3 is the answer to the insanity in our world.

• Learn Jesus: He wants to have a daily, dynamic relationship that satisfies you fully.
• Love Jesus: To know and experience Him is to love him. Passionately pursue the Perfect One and you'll never run around in circles.
  
• Live 4 Jesus: Give Jesus your whole life and he will give you the desire and ability to behave what you believe, walk your talk, and live a transformed life from the inside out.

Passion Statement

Serve each youth with the love, acceptance, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Share God's Word with them so each youth has a personal encounter with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Assist them in developing a genuine relationship with Jesus in which they experience Him, love Him, and live for Him by His power.

Purpose Statement

• Develop young Disciples of Jesus Christ.
  
• Equip youth to do the work of the ministry and build up the body of Chris.
  
• Partner with the parent(s) of New Faith Church youth to be a help and resource to them as they raise their youth in the Lord.

Worship Opportunities

Sunday Morning

• 9:30 Sunday School.
• 10:30 Y-Worship? This is a chance for the youth to understand and develop relationships with God for themselves.

Wednesday Night Study

We meet in the Youth Sanctuary. This is a chance for the youth to gain an in depth understanding of the Word of God. There are opportunities to ask questions and the challenge to LJ3 (Learn Jesus- Love Jesus- Live 4 Jesus). Students are encouraged to bring their Bibles so that they can participate in the studies.

Ministries

Youth in this choir will sing every 1st, 3rd and 4th Sunday during Y Worship and 2nd Sunday in the main Sanctuary at 10:30am. Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm – 8:30pm in the Library.

S.W.A.G.G. Dance Crew/Drama Team

This ministry fuses out-of-the box hip-hop routines, step, and choreographed dance combinations with culturally relevant drama presentation that speak a language of truth, hope, and excitement to any audience in front of them. The love and truth of Jesus Christ is the rhythm by which this dance/drama team moves to and the principles of the bible and New Faith Church are its foundation.

This ministry is designed to educate empower and equip girls with the tools needed to become successful adults. Additionally, we seek to provide spiritual guidance on a more personal basis.

Boys-to-Men Rites of Passage (Mentoring Program)

The New Faith Church Boys to Men-Rites of Passage Ministry is seeking to encourage, educate, and empower young gentlemen for the journey of manhood through brotherly advising and guidance with the help of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Youth Ushers

This ministry is designed to train and employ youth who serve during Y Worship, youth events, and 2nd Sunday in the main sanctuary in the area of logistics, tithe and offering, and order of service.

Youth Council

There are several responsibilities for students interested in the youth council but its ultimate goal is for youth to take an active role in leadership within the church, amongst their peers, and in the observation of society.

Praise Dancers

This provides our youth with a chance to actively serve God through dance. They are able to serve God at New Faith, but also in the community as well. The foundation they receive in our dance ministry provides them with the foundational skills needed to pursue a career in dance.

Houston We Have A Problem!

This night is focused on giving youth something fresh to do on a Friday night. The problem consists of drugs, gang violence, sex and other unholy endeavors. We seek to solve this problem by providing youth with a night they will never forget.

• 7:30 to 10pm (unless otherwise noted)
• Usually on first or third Friday of each month.
• We meet at the church and leave to engage in a night of fun; whether it is at the bowling alley, movies, or to watch one of the youth participate in a sporting/acting activity.

Retreats

Spring Break Retreat

• No plans for spring break?!? NO WORRIES, We got you covered! High School and Middle School Lock-In, Incredible Pizza Bible Study, Open gym and much more!

• To give the youth a week of fun while gaining a spiritual education.

Lock-in/ Youth Rally

We hold a winter lock-in in January to help the youth get ready for the upcoming semester and year.

The Back to school rally is one of the major events. It gives youth the founding spiritual principles needed to obtain success for the upcoming school year, as well as in living the life of a Christian teen.

Coming to Lj3/y-Worship helps youth get to know Jesus and develop a personal relationship with him, real relationships with others, and learn how to live God-fearing lives full of good works.
