Beyond the Walls

Love Ministry

Deacon Larry Garner
Ministry Leader

The New Faith Church family realizes that there are those among us who have suffered misfortunes in life. Many times we are beset by circumstances that are beyond our control. The Love Ministry is acutely aware of and sensitive to those who are in need of provisions for daily living. As a means of assisting families in need we have established the food and clothing pantry located in our IFCEC (Individual Family Christian Enrichment Center) building. This facility is open to members of the New Faith Church congregation and the community as well. This is a wonderful place for anyone who has a heart for meeting the needs of humanity to serve.

Prison Ministry

Rev. Christopher Lumpkin
Associate Pastor of Prison Care

Statement of Faith
As long as there are prisons, Christians should minister to prisoners. Ministry is first and foremost preaching and teaching the Word of God; converting the lost and encouraging the saved. It is a noble work, because jail and prison ministry is carrying out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

Statement of Mission
The mission of the New Faith Church Prison Care Ministry is to bring Christ's love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families and those who work with them, and to assist in the transition of becoming a productive citizen.

Ministry Vision
To build a continually growing team of "Called and Trained" volunteers to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are incarcerated.

Goal
The goal is to offer each offender an opportunity to know and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior and to give them a chance to grow in their faith.

Objective
The objective is to make disciples of those who accept Jesus Christ.

  • Witnessing Ministry

    Bill and Sallie Guidry
    Ministry Leaders

There is no greater mandate upon the Church of the living Christ than that of sharing the faith it holds. The Bible is explicit and emphatic in its teachings concerning the believer’s responsibility to proclaim the way of salvation. At New Faith we take the Great Commission seriously…WE WITNESS!!! What a glorious encounter is to knock on doors, share your faith and experience individuals literally giving their lives to Jesus Christ. There is nothing that compare with winning the lost for the Kingdom of God. If you have never shared your testimony of salvation to an unbeliever come and partner with a member of the Witnessing Ministry. Your life will never be the same.

    Health and Wellness Ministry

    Patricia Batteaux
    Ministry Leader

The Health and Wellness Ministry strives to promote healthy lifestyles, to increase awareness of disease processes, to empower individuals to access the health care system and to enhance early detection and prevention for the New Faith Church congregation and community.

    Foreign Missions

In obedience to the Lord’s command to take the Gospel to the world, the Foreign Missions Teams are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission. High school students and adults volunteer their time and resources to serve abroad and share the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
